AlDub, Vic Sotto, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Other Kapuso Stars, Led The 2016 Box Office Entertainment Awards

The Phenomenal love team in Kalyeserye Maine Mendoza, Alden Richards, and also Vic and Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas led by list of honorees in the 47th Box Office Entertainment Awards of the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation (GMMSF).



"My Bebe Love #KiligPaMore" earned the third top gross, with P385 million, so Vic Sotto and Ai Ai delas Alas staged as Box Office King and Queen.

There are three new categories will be granted GMMSF- Breakthrough Male and Female Star of Philippine Movies and TV, and Breakthrough Recording / Performing Artist.

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza will receive the Breakthrough Male and Female Star of Philippine Movies and TV.

This is because the first time an actor and actress has made breakthrough achievements in multi-media: the movie (My Love Bebe #KiligPaMore); TV (Eat Bulaga! "Kalyeserye" segment and their special "Tamang Panahon" earned a record-breaking 55% rating, plus SRO live shows in Metro Manila and the provinces, and more than 25 product endorsements in the last six months ).

Alden also the recipient of Breakthrough Recording / Performing Artist for his "Wish I May" GMA Records album got a gold status even before it nari-release, after two weeks became platinum, and now triple platinum.

Held the 47th Box Office Entertainment Awards Kia Theater, Araneta Center, Quezon City, on April 17, Sunday.
