Kapuso programs and various personalities recognized in 2016 Stallion Platinum Media Awards held recently at Trinity University of Asia (TUA) University Theatre.
First there was the recognition as Best Female News Anchor for GMA news anchor for TV-host Mel Tiangco. Took home awards again the multi-awarded documentary program I-Witness Documentary Best Show.
One of its host Sandra Aguinaldo was recognized as Most Trusted Male Field Reporter. Wagi GMA News TV travel program as Trinitian Drew's Travel Award for Best TV Magazine Show.
The family sitcom Showbiz's award-winning comedy actor Michael V, was recognized as Best Values-Oriented Program. Also won the Best Gag Show the longest-running comedy program during the Bubble Gang Celebrity Bluff was recognized as Best Game Show.
Also won the TV comedy-variety show Sunday noontime Made Best Entertainment Program and the primetime drama program as Best Drama Anthology Forever.
The SOP with the Master Showman was also honored as a finalist for Trinitian Late Night Show. Among the Kapuso singer Jaya identified as Outstanding Trinitian Media Practitioner for Music and TV.
Also gained Eat Bulaga Dabarkads different awards. Best Noontime Show was awarded the noontime show, while the Street's Angel consisting they Manalo Wally, Jose Manalo and Paolo Ballesteros was named Trinitian Awardees for Values-Oriented TV Character / s. Identified the phenomenal love team were AlDub Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards as Trinitian Award for Most Valuable Female and Male Advertising Endorsers.
The GMA Super Radyo was selected as Best AM Radio Station and Best Male AM Broadcast Journalist was one of its anchor Mike Enriquez.
