Around 44,000 students of Thomasians opted out of the selected programs, campaigns, and personalities from February 12 to March 14 for the winners of USTV Students' Choice Awards.
Mendoza attended Maine USTv Awards in 2016 to accept the award of Special Recognition A Social Media Phenomenon for them Alden Richards.
"Pasensya na po kayo, kung wala si Alden ngayon, pero in behalf of AlDub, nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat ng Thomasian at sa USTv sa pagkilala po sa amin,"
Maine says in her acceptance speech.
"Masayang masaya po kami ni Alden at ang lahat ng mga bumubuo ng Eat Bulaga na nakilala po kami in our own simple ways that we were able to influence our audience especially the youth,"
